DoCSway is a Team of Professionals active in the fields of Vision and Optoelectronics. DoCSway originates from the experience of Researchers of the Laboratory of Optoelectronics of the University of Brescia (Italy). This almost twenty-year-old experience has produced a remarkable amount of applicative know-how, and a network of High-Tech start-up companies operating in different fields of optoelectronics, of the bidimensional and tridimensional vision, of laser safety, of the "on demand" optical design, of the industrial laser development, for light and heavy metalworking applications, of biomedical optics, of advanced optoelectronic sensors, of Radiometry and Photometry and LEDs.
In this context, DoCSway represents a bridge between the indusrtial world and applied research at the National and International levels. DoCSway satisfies the need for technological innovation of Companies through Consultancy and Services, Teaching and Training, Know-how transfer, and University-Industry cooperations. |

Consultancy and Services |

 DoCSway offers consultancy in applications of automated vision for Industry, by using the most qualified and advanced 2D and 3D technologies. It offers consultancy for the selection of the most appropriate vision system. DoCSway offers feasibility studies and "on-demand" optical and vision systems for specific contexts. It also operates a first-consultancy service for cost-benefit analyses related to an innovation product/process.

Consultancy and Services in 2D Vision |

 DoCSway designs and develops vision systems for industrial inspection and for biomedical applications. Special know-how has been developed in the fields of system calibration, automatic object detection and artificial vision, even in combination with robots.

|
|
 DoCSway offers CAD elaborations, Rapid Prototyping and Reverse Engineering for industry. It provides metrically valid reconstructions in forensic science, high reliability reconstructions of events. It provides also anatomic reconstructions in the maxillo-facial, dental and orthopaedic domains. It offers consultancy and services for the reconstruction and study of cultural heritage objects.

Data Acquisition Services |

 DoCSway is expert in the Project and Development of Data Acquisition systems. It operates in the Distributed Control of instruments, wireless applications, real-time applications, handling of large amounts of measurement data. DoCSway developes dedicated software to tailor commercial vision systems and optoelectronic instruments.

Feasibility Studies |
|
|
The feasibility study provides a set of information, at the desired level of detail, which are considered important in order to take the decision of investing in a project or to start a development activity. According to the customer's needs, DoCSway can provide pre-feasibility studies and/or technical feasibility studies, alone or together with its pool of High-Tech companies. The duration of these activities can vary from some days to some months, depending on the complexity of the request. |

Projects |

 DoCSway has the skills and the know-how to project and develop demonstrators operating in the fields of vision and optoelectronics. These projects are developed in the frame of a technical feasibility for the customer, or during the development of specific know-how for DoCSway itself. In both cases DoCSway can use skill of its Network companies.

 Teaching and Training are fundamental for the acquisition of the know-how required by a Company to achieve a competitive advantage from the acquired technology. DoCSWay can train its customers according to their specific needs, in a tailored way.

Technology Transfer |

 One of the most important tools to give value to the results of Scientific Industrial R&D, and to defend them, is Technology Transfer (TT). The DoCSway Team is at the custoomer's disposal, to activated TT procedures that may imply the survey of valuable know-how within italian or foreign Universities and Research Centers, Intellectual Property (IP) Evaluation associated to this know-how, access to Funding, the Coordination of Applied Research Projects, the search for Venture Capital, and the creation of Start-ups.

 To provide the customer with all the services of consultancy, project development and Technology Transfer, DoCSway uses a Network of Universities and Centers, as well as of High-Tech companies. Moreover it has access to several Associations that group industries together. This Network enables DoCSway to connect the customer with the most reliable companion for projects, Technology Transfer activities, and developments.
